TV update: Arsenal v WBA
Arsenal's home fixture against West Bromwich Albion will be shown on 5-hour tape delay on Saturday November 20th. I guess we'll be downstairs at 3pm though, since Barca v Real Madrid is on at 4pm...

Hi There
Im an Arsenal Season Ticket Holder over in NY (missing the Brom home game no less). I cant believe it!! Anyway, I'll be in Nevada's for the Brom match instead. Im a little confused about going downstairs for 4pm. I couldnt care less about Madrid vs Barca when Arsenal are on at the same time. Please tell me that the Arsenal match wont be curtailed to make way for the la liga game? Never been to Nevada's before - is it a gooner pub or just a mixture of all footy fans?
Thanks and see y'all on the 20th.

Hi Robbo,
It'll be good to have you over! The Arse game will be shown in entirity in the downstairs bar, starting at 3pm.
As far as Nevada's goes, it's a Gooner bar nowadays. The Mancs and Rent Boys call it home too as well as other fans (incl. the Spanish and Italians, and Frogs - well, Marseilles anyway). We tend to bring out more folks on a regular basis - though the numbers vary from week to week (and between the weekend and midweek games)
Cheers,
Grahame.

Cheers Grahame,
I will be downstairs for 3pm NY time with a beer on my hand for sure to watch the Magpies at Highbury. Meanwhile, off to Shite Hart Lane tomorrow. Lets give the scum the spanking they deserve.
UP THE GUNNERS

During the Manu vs. Arsenal match I was asked by a visiting “gooner” “why are there so many Mancs supporters in the bar and why were they singing …find your own bar”. He thought Nevada Smiths was the home of Arsenal in NY. I explained that the Bar was actually listed as the Home of the NY Reds and he asked “with a look of disgust” why were we here, in a Manc Bar?
I tried to explain that I did not think it would be financially viable for each club to have there own bar in NY, although the idea of a bar called “NY Gooners” sounds good to me. Not to mention sharing a bar with your rivals is not so bad, it adds to the fun and excitement, it’s like being at the stadium, home and away fans singing, cheering and arguing with each other. It’s more fun to beat the mancs when you can look across the left hand corner of the bar and see the look of defeat on their faces.
